Middle Earth: Shadow of War

Middle Earth: Shadow of War

This game picks up where the first left off.  All the fun stuff that the nemesis system brings, returns in glory.  The story this time around is more of the same revenge and more revenge.  The game is made great by the orcs that you will dominate and turn into your army over time.  The adaptability of each or depending on if you die by their hand, or brutally murder them and they somehow cheat death, is amazing.  The call backs and the way they change is spectacular.  The games loot system is meh at best.  The whole loot system is a bit sketchy and deplorable duing the end game, it feels mandatory to utilize.

Comingng into this game with a ton of enjoyment from the first game.  Now in hindsight it was like the anticipation of meeting an ex you thought you really still liked.  In the beginning it was amazing sex and familiarity.  Then a week in you start noticing why it all went bad and become frustrated.  Mind you this didn't hit me till the end game but it did happen.  As you can tell the end game grind just broke me.  The loot boxes system coupled with the need to grind exp to level is crazy.  Grinding isn't too bad until you capture all forts and everything offers little exp after missions are done and shadow wars start.  It leave a bad taste in ones mouth, just like the ex.
