The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Let's go on the third and Final journey with Geralt and company. This open world game is still fantastic to play and look at over 2 years after release. The core game is so thick with plot and utter beauty that it's hard to put down. The plot is about Geralt trying to find Ciri. Ciri is basically Geralts stepdaughter, for how long she has been with him. The story is complete with a fuck ton of monsters, wolves, and spirits. There is so much for you to do. Of course the game offers side quests and throw in some joke quests as well. Best joke quests is in the blood and wine expansion and has to do with the bank.
This game doesn't show any sign of aging. It is like a fine wine that I appreciate all the more going back to. For reference, I played PS4 for over 200 hours and now on PC I'm at 214. Game is great and my number one of all time if I were to do a list. I can literally go sight seeing and enjoy myself in this world, or just go look for a conversation with another rock troll. "Witcher no swishy swish." If you are not interested in taking monster contracts, sit down and gamble via Gwent. A particularly fun diversion from the game. No to gambling? Try theft for potions and whatnot. Don't worry if you have sticky fingers no one really seems to mind if you loot their house of precious food when they have next to nothing. Pick this up as the Game of the Year and get all the dlc my friends. Good luck on the path, see you in 400+ hours.
