Mexican Gangster is the story of Alfredo Ríos Galeana and his band of merry men. You follow Alfredo through his life and how he became the criminal known so well throughout Mexico. Alfredo is a bank robber who's crimes gain him huge notoriety with the people. His smooth and cool demeanor when came to being a gangster was so infectious that even when he was caught the press interview with him felt more like a post game interview then a low moment for him. Add in the fact that he also is well know singer and you got yourself a story.
This movie was not what I thought it was going to be. First off it is based on a real person and that post game interview really did happen. Thanks to little things like that and some goofy cameras and editing this movie has some funny parts to it. It also puts in a love story without being too forceful, which can be pretty annoying sometime. It's on Netflix at the moment so check it out. Don't forget you reading glasses otherwise you'll need a Spanish dictionary.
