Knights and Magic

Knights and Magic

What happens when you die?  A question many of us ask and will never know.  Well if you are a programmer with an obsession with robots, you could get sent to the middle ages where robots battle.  That's what happens with Ernesti, our protagonist.  He brings knowledge from our world into a place of stale imagination.  Needless to say as a child reborn, his intellect gets him to be very important at a young age.  Improving the designs of robots and increasing functionality ten fold.  He meets the king and is given his own special forces unit he names the Order of the Silver Phoenix.  This group is comprised of all the important characters.  Throughout this happening there is a war that starts up and the Order is the Trump card.

This show just wrapped up on Crunchyroll and was a great watch.  The way they wrote the main character as having such childlike joy over robots, was heartwarming and slightly disturbing.  The mech battles were great.  Just the variance of mech was super enjoyable.  They did ditch the whole monster thing really quick in this show.  They show a couple but it was a means to an end.  Still if they exist you think they would cause more chaos on a frequent basis.  Either way it panned out great.  The show has a great slow drip of battle and new items.  Really enjoyed the fact our main character wouldn't build his own mech until he felt he had a good grasp on building others.  He made his whole unit a powerhouse before making his.  Overall a great show that you should check out!
